At the Sept. 17 meeting of the North Business Council of the St. Johns County Chamber, attendees heard speaker Linda Stoughton of the St. Johns County Emergency Operations Center, who covered how the county prepared for Hurricane Dorian, including a discussion of evacuation zones, emergency disaster kits and general hurricane preparedness for citizens.
